This media PC, although lower priced than most, does not offer the basic configuration that we were looking for. The CineMagix M50 only offers a Celeron type processor, a half of a GB of RAM and a miniature hard drive of 80GB. On the positive side it does have a dual TV tuner, noise reducing elements and FireWire ports.
We would suggest that if you cannot afford a high–end component type media center PC that you go with a tower type multimedia PC that can perform media center functions, like an HP media center PC for under $1000.
